We meet at Fjelldokkstølen at 4 o`clock PM. Trout and potatoes will be served at 5 o`clock PM. An orientation on the trip will be given after dinner. We will give you tips and advice on sadling, riding and general treatment of your horse. It is an advantage to have ridden before.
Tuesday
After breakfast we`ll ride along the ridges of Volelia and Gaurhovd. From there we`ll have a full view of Hallingskarvet, Reinskarvet Norefjell and Hemsedal`s Skogshorn mountain ranges. We`ll stop to rest at Solhovdstølen and eat our prepacked lunch with coffee and tee. After the lunchbreake, we`ll ride back to Fjelldokkstølen where there will be servered lamb, potatoes and vegetables.
Wednesday
Our tour goes west in the beautiful mountains toward Lauvdalskamben and Reineskarvet. We will rest at Haugestølen, then ride ontop of Fristølfjellet and end at Lauvdalen. Here the horses will graze and rest overnight, and a bus will pick us up and drive us to Skarsnuten Hotel, about 20 minutes driving time, located in the mountains of Hemsedal. The hotel is built in natural stone and glass and lies as an eagle's nest with a panoramic view of the nature outside. For dinner it is marinated chicken and mashed potatoes.
Thursday
We ride on top of Fiskeløkhovda and make a reststop at Hengsen. We will continune the tour along Vardehovda og Raunehovda to Fetjastølen. Here the horses will graze and rest overnight, and a bus will pick us up and drive us to Actif Hotel, about 15 minutes driving time. The hotel holds a high standard with many facilities such as swimming pool, whirlpool and work out room. For dinner we will eat reindeercalf, mashed potatoes, cowberry and glazed vegetables.
Friday
We will ride back to Fjelldokkstølen. The tour will go through Hellebu to Breiset, where we will rest. In the evening there will be served traditional food from the region of Hallingdal.
Saturday
