Daily program for 3 day tours 2010
Wednesday
We meet at Fjelldokkstølen at 4 o`clock PM. An orientation on the trip will be given after dinner. We will give you tips and advice on sadling, riding and general treatment of your horse. It is an advantage to have ridden before.
Thursday
After breakfast a bus drive us to the farm in Torpo. From here the tour will go on horseback along a track use by farmers before roads for cars where built. This road was then used as a transportationroute for goods up in the high mountain by horses. We take a break at the farm`s own cabin on Vermelia,. After the lunchbreake, we`ll ride back to Fjelldokkstølen where there will be servered lamb, potatoes and vegetables.
Friday
The tour today will be go around Volelia and Gaurhovd, with a break at Solhovdstølen. In the evening there will be served traditional food from the region of Hallingdal.
Saturday
The tour today goes to the mountains to the west. We return and finish the tour at Fjelldokkstølen. |
