The tours are based on our own flock of horses. The horses are secure, surefooted and kind and of course familiar with each other. We have approx 30 horses of various breeds, with emphasis on the Norwegian draft horse. One of these horses will become your friend and carry you safely across the mountain plateaus throughout the week.

Fjelldokkstølen is a part of our farm. The mountain farm is built to receive our riders during the summer. It is idyllic located, some 1000 meters above sea level in an area known as Volelia, located on the mountain plateau between Hallingdal and Hemsedal. The buildings are build out of logs in the traditional Norwegian style and includes a separate cabin for showers and toilet facilities. The horses are never far away, they will be grazing behind the buildings during your stay here.
